Annotation

The main topic addressed in this work is to show some aspects of grammar and sentence transformation that are necessary for academic and technical English. Selected grammar problems and the importance of proofreading are presented, and the use of articles and punctuation is emphasised. Last but not least, a number of interesting differences between British and American English is discussed.

Objectives

The goal of this work is to show some aspects of academic and technical English in terms of grammar and solve a significant number of tasks focused on Reported Speech, Passive Voice, Conditionals, Gerund, Subjunctive, prepositions, among many others.
