Annotation

Studijní materiál se zabývá různými druhy zdravotnických zařízení v České republice. Detailněji je popsána nemocnice, její typy, oddělení a vybavení. Samostatná kapitola je věnována zdravotnickému personálu. Část týkající se nemocničního příjmu se věnuje anamnéze a vyšetření. Poslední kapitola uvádí různé druhy léčby.

The study material deals with various types of health care facilities in the Czech Republic. A hospital is discusses in detail, mainly its types, departments and equipment. A separate chapter is concerned with healthcare workers. The chapter describing a hospital admission includes taking a history and a physical examination of a patient. The last chapter lists various kinds of treatment.

Objectives

Student získá odbornou slovní zásobu k tématu, zejména se naučí vyjmenovat typy zdravotnických zařízení, umí popsat nemocnici, její oddělení a vybavení. Osvojí si základní otázky kladené při anamnéze. Umí pojmenovat diagnostické testy a přístroje. Osvojí si slovní zásobu týkající se zdravotnického personálu.

Students gain medical terminology linked to the topic, mainly they get acquainted with various types of health care facilities. They can describe a hospital, its departments and equipment. They are able to ask questions when taking a patient´s history. They can list diagnostic tests and machines. They also acquire the basic vocabulary concerning healthcare workers.
