Annotation

Tento studijní materiál je určen pro studenty vyšších odborných škol zdravotnických oboru Diplomovaná všeobecná sestra. Informuje je o ošetřovatelském povolání, požadavcích pro jednotlivé zdravotnické pozice i základních povinnostech sestry. Dále pak informuje o historii ošetřovatelství a některých ošetřovatelských modelech.

The study material is made for higher medical school students aiming for the nursing profession. It provides information concerning the nursing profession and particular nursing ranks, study requirements as well as the job duties of a qualified nurse. Furthermore it includes information about history of nursing and some of the nursing care models.

Objectives

Studenti dokáží v anglickém jazyce popsat ošetřovatelské povolání a charakterizovat povinnosti s tímto povoláním spojené. Studenti umí popsat vzdělání, které je k výkonu povolání potřeba, orientují se v historii ošetřovatelství a dokáží charakterizovat ošetřovatelské modely.

Students are able to describe the nursing profession and its job duties in English. They are able to describe education and qualifications required for the profession. They understand the history of nursing and nursing care models.
