Annotation

Výukový materiál je určen pro výuku odborného anglického jazyka na vyšších odborných školách. Svým obsahem je zaměřen na obor Diplomovaná dentální hygienistka. Je zpracován v souladu s učebním plánem oboru DDH. Zabývá se nástroji a pomůckami na čištění zubů jako jsou různé druhy zubních kartáčků, zubními pastami a jejich složením. Věnuje se metodám čištění a jejich popisem. Výukový materiál zahrnuje testové otázky, interaktivní cvičení a videa, která ukazují čištění zubů.

The educational material is designed to teach professional English language at higher professional schools. Its content is focused on Diploma Dental Hygienist. It has been prepared in accordance with curriculum field DDH. It deals with tooth brushing tools and aids such as various types of toothbrushes, toothpastes and their composition. It deals with cleaning methods and their description. The educational material includes test questions, interactive exercises, and videos that show teeth brushing.

Objectives

Student si osvojí odbornou slovní zásobu v oblasti orální hygieny, bude znát základní pomůcky a jejich použití. To vede k rozvoji komunikativní kompetence, která je rozvíjena v interaktivních cvičeních. Na tu navazuje i kompetence sociální a pracovní, kterou bude student používat v komunikaci s pacientem při prevenci zubního plaku, při výuce čistících metod. Výslovnost cizích slov je k nalezení v interaktivních cvičeních.

Students acquire professional oral hygiene vocabulary, know basic tools and their use. This knowledge leads to the development of communicative competence, which is developed in interactive exercises. This is followed by the social and working competencies that the student will use in communicating with the patient in the prevention of dental plaque while teaching cleaning methods. Pronunciation of foreign words can be found in interactive exercises.
