Student se seznámí s povoláním zubního technika. Dokáže vyjmenovat a popsat charakteristiky oboru a také zubních techniků. Seznámí se s některými předměty, které připravují zubní techniky na jejich práci. Dokáže identifikovat mnohé úkoly zubních techniků. Uvědomí si možnosti uplatnění a směřování oboru v budoucnosti. Použitou slovní zásobu si upevní využitím slovníčků a interaktivních cvičení, jejichž použití směřuje také k rozvoji komunikativních kompetencí a fixaci správné výslovnosti. Na konci si student ověří znalosti tématu v samostudijním testu.

The students will become acquainted with the profession of the dental technician. They will name and describe the characteristics of the field and also of dental technicians. Students will be introduced to some subjects that prepare dental technicians for their work. They will be able to identify a number of tasks of dental technicians. They will become aware of job opportunities and trends in the field. Vocabulary employed in the source will be consolidated by the use of vocabulary lists and interactive exercises which lead to the development of communicative competences and reinforcement of proper pronunciation. At the end of the study, the students will verify their knowledge of the subject matter in a self-test.
